Cambria House – 7 Cambria Street, Nelson

You Build completed restoration, repair and refurbishment works at Cambria House, a substantial 1880s character home in Nelson’s historic Wood precinct. Although not formally Heritage New Zealand listed, the home’s age and architectural character required a careful approach to preserve its original features while improving functionality.

Our scope included replacement of deteriorated weatherboards, general exterior maintenance, construction of a new timber deck, and renovations to the kitchen and bathroom. Each element was completed to complement the home’s traditional style while incorporating modern materials and finishes.
