  • At You Build, we help clients across the Nelson -Tasman region create their ideal home. At our initial consultation (either in our office or at your home) we will take the time to understand your vision, lifestyle, project and budget. We will also explain our process in more detail.

  • You Build partners with a number of well known local Nelson - Tasman designers and architects to be able to provide the right design for your budget and taste. We will arrange a meeting for you and the designer we think best fits to discuss your design ideas. From here your concept plans will be created and we will begin to price your project.

  • Once your design is finalised we will present you with a detailed specification document outlining the works and materials included in your build. Once you have signed the contract, the specification document and paid the deposit your plans will be submitted to council for building consent. From here we will finalise your exterior and interior finishes.

  • Once building consent is issued, You Build, will start construction. Our experienced Project manager will oversee your project and ensure quality control throughout the build. Our Operations and Project manager will be available to have regular site visits and will aim to give you frequent email updates during the build.

  • Once your build is complete we will meet with you onsite to complete a handover walkthrough. Your home will be professionally cleaned inside and windows cleaned inside and out upon completion. We aim to hand your home over to you with care, clarity and confidence.
