Restoring this Heritage Category 2 Home back to its original glory has been a labour of love for You Build. Reopening the top balcony from being closed in to replicate how it was built originally, extensive roofing and cladding repairs and major alterations to the large 2 Storey Garage. The main house is undergoing significant alterations to the kitchen, dining and bathrooms. We are excited to see the finished product of this amazing piece of Nelson History.

You Build were with us from the very beginning of the journey right through to the reopening. No task was too much to ask and no question was too silly. It truly did feel as the guys on site as well as Matt and Janine were part of The Boathouse team. The greatest and most important task of all was preserving the heritage feel and charm of the past while making the building safe and comfortable. Watching couples wed and friends dance on the floorboards, we are happy to report this was achieved.”
